Known Issues

Current known issues with IPv6

 

• DHCPv6 Lease not expiring when PPP or link drops on xDSL connection
  
  This is due to a bug in the code on our BRAS - it will be fixed in a later release, so for now we have set the default lease time to 30 minutes.
  
  This wont be so prevalent now that we are assigning addresses statically :)
  
  
• Unable to provide Static IPv6 Prefixes
  
  This is due to the way our Radius server interprets the ipv6prefix attribute type used by the VSA which assigns prefixes to a user - this will be resolved at a later date.
